Beta Testers Speak

Tales from the Tavern

Real words from adventurers who've braved the dungeons.

I was able to play earlier and had a blast. He even 'filled in' roleplay when I was vague. Like I said 'my priest says a prayer before opening the sarcophagus' and he took that as a prompt to actually make a few lines about the prayer up.

The combat and grid/map is leagues ahead of the other services.

ROLE PLAYING!! ... We'll have to explore this element more deeply as we delve more deeply into the roleplaying element with NPCs (specifically the Blacksmith, bartender) .... and REALLY ENJOY the interactions. Excellent AI dialog, responses, flavor, etc.

By far the best part of DD (or D&D in general) for me is attempting things that are not possible in most games. It was a lot of fun to drum up a convincing story to get the bandits to join me.

Super awesome! I have been hoping and waiting for an AI DM experience and this one is soooooooooooooo excellent.

tl;dr; - this is fucking awesome; the AI tone and speech is great, accuracy/flexibility/fluidity of the AI responses is great; accurate game rule/mechanics is great;
